The castle features a square layout with four corner towers, residential quarters, and a monumental kitchen with vaulted ceilings on its ground floor.
Built in the 13th century and first documented in 1256, the castle underwent major renovations in the 17th century when Pierre III de Laurens added a park and stables.
The current owner guides visitors through the castle, sharing family stories that span multiple generations since the 17th century ownership.
From May to September, guided tours operate on Thursdays at 3 PM, 4 PM, and 5 PM, with additional Friday tours during July and August.
The castle contains Europe's largest underground cistern, built in 1747, featuring five naves supported by twenty pillars and capable of storing 28,000 cubic meters of water.
