Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot

The Museum of the Jewish People spans 7,000 square meters across multiple floors, presenting exhibitions about Jewish communities through artifacts and digital displays.

Established in 1978 under the name Beit Hatfutsot, the museum underwent a complete transformation and reopened in 2021 with expanded facilities and new exhibition spaces.

The permanent collection documents Jewish traditions, customs, and achievements from communities worldwide, incorporating multimedia presentations and interactive installations.

The museum maintains an extensive online database accessible to researchers and visitors, containing photographs, music recordings, and genealogical records of Jewish communities.

Rather than displaying original artifacts, the museum uses reconstructions and modern technology to tell the story of Jewish people across different time periods.
