Rosh Tzipor Park, Birdwatching park in Tel Aviv, Israel

Rosh Tzipor Park is a green space where the Yarkon and Ayalon rivers meet, with constructed ponds, viewing shelters, and walking paths throughout. The landscape offers different areas to discover birds and plant life.

Rosh Tzipor Park was established in 2014 to strengthen biodiversity and link nature with the city. It was created by KKL-JNF, the Tel Aviv-Yafo municipality, Ganei Yehoshua and the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel, and Ganei Yehoshua took over its maintenance in April 2017. Its construction cost about 17 million shekels, funded partly by KKL friends in Australia and France.

This place serves as a refuge where locals and visitors connect with nature within the urban landscape. People come here to observe wildlife and find a peaceful space away from the city's bustle.

The park is open during daylight hours with several entrances and parking options nearby. Bring binoculars or a camera if you want to watch birds, and wear sturdy shoes for walking the paths.

The woodland here forms the shape of a bird's head when viewed from above, which connects to the park's name and purpose. This unusual shape shows how the area was deliberately designed to match its function.
