Brahma Temple, Khedbrahma

Brahma Temple is a Hindu temple in Khedbrahma constructed entirely from white sandstone with ornate carvings throughout. The building displays Maru-Gurjara architectural style and remains an active religious site used by worshippers and pilgrims.

The temple was built in the 11th century under the reign of Chaulukya king Karna and represents the architectural skills of medieval Gujarat. It has remained a place of worship and spiritual importance since its construction.

The sanctuary displays detailed carvings of gods and celestial beings across its sandstone surfaces. Local visitors and pilgrims come here to worship and observe sacred rituals throughout the year.

The temple is located in the center of Khedbrahma and is easily accessible by vehicle through Gujarat State Highway Number 9. Visitors should dress respectfully and observe proper etiquette when entering, as it remains an active place of worship.

The inner sanctum houses a rare three-faced Brahma statue with four arms in a standing position. This deity figure is surrounded by four original octagonal pillars that date back to the temple's creation.
