Jasmalnathji Mahadev Temple

Jasmalnathji Mahadev Temple is a Hindu shrine in Gujarat with a central sanctum, a pillared hall for worship, and an ornamental gateway at the entrance. The structure maintains its original layout, though the central shrine's roof is no longer complete.

Built in the 10th century, the temple shows architectural features of the Māru-Gurjara style with influences from the Malwa region. This blend of building traditions makes it an important example of temple construction from that era.

The complex features intricately carved staircases and uses the vandanmalika decoration pattern in its pillared hall. These ornamental details reflect the artistic traditions that visitors can observe throughout the site.

The complex was originally designed as a panchayatana temple with five separate shrines, though only the central structure survives today. This layout, with smaller shrines arranged around a larger one, represents a distinct architectural approach visitors rarely encounter elsewhere.
