Rajmahal, Mehsana, Indo-Saracenic palace in Mehsana, India.

Rajmahal is a three-story Indo-Saracenic palace in Mehsana featuring 130 rooms spread across substantial grounds. The building displays multiple large domes and pyramidal structures that form its distinctive architectural profile.

The palace was commissioned in 1904 as part of relief efforts during a severe famine in the region. It later served as the seat of district courts until their relocation in 2017.

The palace displays intricate wood carvings and stone details that bring together Indian and Islamic building traditions. Visitors walking through can see how different artistic styles are woven into the walls and ceilings.

The palace sits near the old bus station on Rajmahal Road and is easy to find on foot. Visitors should know the building stands empty and can be viewed from the outside.

The central dome carries a clock and blends onion-shaped domes with umbrella-like structures on the sides. This unusual combination gives the building an instantly recognizable appearance.
