Soltani Mosque

The Soltani Mosque extends over 7,000 square meters and features three large entrances with detailed plasterwork and tile decorations throughout its structure.

The construction of this religious building began in the late 18th century and continued through the reign of Fath Ali Shah Qajar into the 19th century.

The mosque functions as a center for theological studies in Iran, containing 16 chambers where students gather to study Islamic teachings and traditions.

The northern entrance of the mosque leads to a central courtyard measuring 61 by 47 meters, with a water pool situated in the middle.

An inscription at the entrance displays words from Prophet Mohammad alongside the date 1291 AH and tax exemption records for local bakers.
