Jameh Mosque of Borujerd

Jameh Mosque of Borujerd is a prayer house in the city of Borujerd that displays multiple centuries of building and rebuilding in its form. The structure features two main entry doors positioned on opposite sides, vaulted interior spaces, and decorated tile work covering the walls and overhead surfaces.

The original structure was built in the early medieval period and then received changes and additions over approximately nine centuries. Each succeeding ruling dynasty made alterations or expanded the building, resulting in the form seen today.
