Shahshahan Mausoleum, Historical mausoleum in Ebn-e Sina district of Isfahan, Iran.
The cylindrical structure features intricate plasterwork, tiling, and hexagonal patterns decorating both interior and exterior walls of the building.
Sultan Muhammad commissioned the mausoleum in 1448 to honor Shah Alaeddin Muhammad, who was executed in 1446 by Timurid ruler Shah Rukh.
Fourteen Arabic poems inscribed inside the dome narrate Shah Alaeddin's execution, created by calligrapher Seyyed Mahmood Naghash.
The mausoleum, registered as Iranian National Heritage number 368, remains open to visitors in District 3 of Isfahan.
Sultan Muhammad endowed several properties, including villages of Esfehanak and Valasan, to generate income for the mausoleum's maintenance.
