Soltan Bakht Agha Mausoleum

Soltan Bakht Agha Mausoleum is an octagonal brick structure topped with a dome covered in turquoise and azure tilework. The building displays Persian design through its geometric patterns and the interplay between masonry and decorative tile surfaces.

The structure was built in 1375 under orders from Shah Shoja Mozaffari as a burial place for a member of the Muzaffarid dynasty. Her fate following marriage and political events of the era led to her interment at this location.

The mausoleum attracted pilgrims who came to pay respects to the woman buried there, drawn by stories of her life and fate. Local devotion to the site reflects how a personal tragedy became woven into the region's spiritual landscape.

The mausoleum is freely accessible and can be visited during daylight hours without entry charges. The site is straightforward to reach and open year-round.

The woman buried here entered the Muzaffarid family with intentions of avenging the execution of relatives. Her personal story became intertwined with the structure itself, transforming it into more than merely an architectural monument.
