Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua, Minor basilica in Padua, Italy.

The basilica features a Latin cross layout with nine radiating chapels, combining Romanesque, Byzantine, and Gothic architectural elements in its construction.

Construction of the basilica started in 1232 following Saint Anthony's death, taking 78 years to complete the initial structure with subsequent modifications through the 15th century.

The main altar contains 29 bronze sculptures created by Donatello, depicting saints and important scenes from Saint Anthony's life through detailed reliefs.

The basilica maintains regular mass schedules, offers guided tours, and provides live streaming services through webcams positioned at key locations throughout the building.

The Chapel of Relics preserves Saint Anthony's tongue, which remained intact after his death in 1231, along with other corporeal remains of the saint.
