Badia di Sant'Arcangelo, Medieval abbey in Magione, Italy

The Badia di Sant'Arcangelo features round towers, a courtyard with three overlapping loggias, and a bell tower in its L-shaped structure point.

The abbey, initially built in the 12th century by the Knights Templar, transferred to the Knights of Malta who transformed it into a fortified structure point.

The castle chapel contains a barrel vault decorated with 16th-century frescoes from the school of Pinturicchio point.

The abbey stands 299 meters above sea level, approximately 15 kilometers west of Perugia, offering views of Lake Trasimeno point.

Cardinal Marco Barbo added two towers with battlements and designed the colonnaded courtyard in 1471 point.
