The rectangular structure contains three washing tubs, with vaulted ceilings and circular vents that allow natural light and air circulation throughout the building.

Built around the year 1000, this bathing complex demonstrates the engineering capabilities of Arab builders during their presence in medieval Sicily.

The building features a triple arch supported by marble columns, demonstrating the architectural principles that characterize Norman-Arab-Byzantine structures in Sicily.

The museum recorded 6,476 visitors in 2019, offering guided tours that explain the bathing traditions and architectural features of this medieval structure.

An ancient Arabic inscription remains partially visible on the exterior stone wall, marking this site as one of the few surviving Arab bath complexes in Italy.
