Church of the Cross, Renaissance church in Senigallia, Italy.
The Church of the Cross features four exterior pilasters with Corinthian capitals and a tympanum decorated with geometric Istrian stone patterns.
The Confraternity of the Sacrament and the Cross commissioned architect Muzio Oddi to design this church, which was built between 1605 and 1608.
The ceiling displays square coffers with arabesque patterns incorporating symbols of the Eucharist, reflecting the religious traditions of the Confraternity.
Located near Piazza Roma in Senigallia, the church maintains regular opening hours and welcomes visitors to explore its Renaissance architecture.
A Venetian pipe organ from 1775, crafted by Gaetano Callido, sits above the entrance on the cantoria of the church.
