The Church of Saint Martin contains a central nave with barrel vaults that expand into a Greek cross shape, featuring side chapels and an octagonal lantern dome.
The church structure, dating from the Middle Ages and rebuilt in 1707, served as the third most important religious building in Asti after the Cathedral and Saint Secundus.
The interior walls display notable frescoes by Giancarlo Aliberti, including La Gloria di Alessandro Sauli, alongside oil paintings by Michelangelo Pittatore depicting various saints.
Located at Piazza San Martino 11 in the San Martino - San Rocco district, this heritage site offers free entrance and maintains regular religious services.
The original bell tower from the 14th century remains standing, while the entrance portal features a dedicated niche containing a statue of Saint Martin.
