Giorgio da Montesono initiated the construction of the church in 1429, with completion occurring after 1460 during the Venetian dominion period.
The interior features significant artworks, including frescoes by Vincenzo Foppa from 1477 depicting Evangelists and a Crucifix, along with a Baroque organ from 1629.
The church welcomes visitors on Fridays and Saturdays between 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, located on Contrada del Carmine.
The stone and brick facade combines Gothic and Renaissance elements, featuring twisted columns and a central portal with an Annunciation scene in its lunette.
