Parco regionale Bacino fiume Sarno

The protected area spans 3,436 hectares, encompassing the Sarno River basin with its network of waterways, wetlands, and agricultural territories.

The park received official designation on July 20, 2004, following conservation initiatives that began in 2003 to protect the watershed ecosystem.

Local farmers maintain traditional agricultural practices within the park boundaries, cultivating crops using methods passed down through generations.

Visitors can access numerous walking paths throughout the park, with informational signs providing details about local flora and fauna species.

The Oasi del Voscone section features newly developed picnic areas and accessible trails, offering direct interaction with the river basin environment.
