Palazzo Fienga, Medieval fortress and 19th-century palace in Nocera Inferiore, Italy.

Palazzo Fienga is a 19th-century building in Nocera Inferiore that preserves features of a medieval fortress. The structure contains two courtyards, with a medieval tower integrated into the first courtyard and defensive walls surrounding the second courtyard.

The building was constructed in 1850 on the site of an earlier structure that belonged to the De Guidobaldi family. It was later expanded to incorporate medieval fortification elements, blending layers from different periods.

The palace holds Roman objects that tell stories about daily life in ancient times, from tools and pottery to household items. These artifacts help visitors understand how people lived and worked in this region centuries ago.

The building is managed by the Municipality of Nocera Inferiore and welcomes visitors to explore its interior spaces and collections. It is best to check opening times in advance and wear comfortable shoes for walking through historic areas.

Inside is a virtual theater that displays digital reconstructions of local monuments. Visitors can see ancient structures in their original form, including an important burial site from the area.
