Our Lady of Good Counsel Church

The Santuario del Buon Consiglio features a grand facade with six Ionic columns and houses an altar decorated with polychrome marble elements.

Construction of the sanctuary began on May 25, 1902, under the direction of priest Raffaele Scauda, who aimed to support abandoned children in the area.

The church maintains its role as a spiritual center through the Caritas diocesan initiatives, continuing the legacy of supporting those in need.

Located near Naples, the sanctuary operates under the Archdiocese of Naples and serves the thirteenth deanery with regular religious services.

During World War II bombings in 1943, the entire temple and orphanage were destroyed except for one wall containing the Madonna's image.
