Sanctuary of Our Lady of Valdibrana, Neoclassical shrine in Valdibrana, Italy.
The stone sanctuary features clean architectural lines, large windows, and a central altar displaying a sacred painting from 1625.
The sanctuary was constructed in 1650 on the site of a small oratory that housed a miraculous image of the Virgin from the 14th century.
The sanctuary contains an Annunciation painting with two saints created by local Pistoia artist Alessio Gimignani in the seventeenth century.
Located at Via di Valdibrana 114 in Pistoia, the sanctuary receives numerous visitors during May for religious celebrations and prayers.
Behind the main altar rests a blessed stone that faithful visitors touch, marking the spot where the Virgin Mary appeared to a shepherdess.
