Madonna di Valverde

Madonna di Valverde is a baroque sanctuary nestled at the foot of Botticino and Serle hills near Rezzato. The grounds feature ornate chapels, decorative fountains, and open courtyards designed for pilgrimage and prayer.

Construction of this sanctuary started in 1601 and finished by 1615, establishing it as a baroque religious center. Its formal consecration came afterward, recognizing its role as a major pilgrimage destination for the local region.

The chapels within the sanctuary display ornate decorations that reflect centuries of devotion from visitors who have passed through. These spaces remain active places of prayer where people come from surrounding regions to leave offerings and seek spiritual comfort.
