The Madonna di Valverde sanctuary stands at the foot of Botticino and Serle hills, featuring baroque architecture with decorated chapels and fountains throughout its grounds.
Construction of the sanctuary began in 1601 and reached completion in 1615, with formal consecration taking place in 1642 during a period of social challenges.
The sanctuary holds a historical procession on the last Sunday of July, starting from San Giovanni Battista church and proceeding to the small lake.
Located at Via Santuario 75 in Rezzato, the sanctuary maintains regular visiting hours and welcomes pilgrims from across northern Italy throughout the year.
The site marks the location of a 1399 Marian apparition, where both Christ and the Virgin Mary appeared simultaneously to a farmer during his field work.
