Villa Canali Gaslini, Art Nouveau villa in Albaro district, Genoa, Italy.
The three-story residence features a central parallelepiped structure with two side buildings, surrounded by a one-hectare sloping garden toward Corso Italia.
Built between 1924 and 1925 for the Canali family, the villa served as the Japanese consulate before Gerolamo Gaslini purchased it in 1942.
The interior displays intricate wooden ceilings, ornate stucco work, and frescoes throughout the upper floor bedrooms, reflecting Italian architectural craftsmanship.
The villa currently functions as the headquarters of the Gaslini medical foundation and opens to visitors during specific FAI events throughout the year.
German troops and Allied forces occupied the villa during World War II before returning to the Gaslini family in 1948.
