Palazzo Zambeccari, Bologna, Neoclassical palace in central Bologna, Italy

The palace features a grand staircase adorned with quadrature paintings by Giovanni Santi and Francesco Santini, complemented by Luigi Acquisti's stucco decorations from 1790.

Architect Carlo Bianconi designed the palace in 1775 for the Zambeccari family, replacing an earlier structure that housed the Collegio Vives in the 16th century.

The first floor contains a room decorated with a ceiling fresco depicting Mount Olympus, created by artists Giuseppe Maria Roli and Giacomo Alboresi.

The building stands at the intersection of Via de' Carbonesi and Via Val d'Aposa, currently serving as offices for Banco Popolare di Milano since 2015.

The internal courtyard received a glass covering during modern renovations, adapting the historical structure to contemporary needs while preserving its architectural elements.
