Casa del Fascio

The Casa del Fascio is a 1930s building with clear geometric shapes and a light stone facade. Windows are arranged in regular rows, and large glass surfaces allow abundant light to reach the interior spaces.

Architect Giovanni Lorenzi designed the building in 1938 as an administrative center for a political party. After the war, it took on new purposes and has been used by various public institutions since then.

The building functioned as an administrative center and continues to serve public purposes today. Its light stone facade and regularly spaced windows have shaped the appearance of the old town for generations.

The building is centrally located in Trento and easily reached on foot. Since it continues to function as an administrative center, visitors can only admire the architecture from the outside.

The windows follow a mathematical rule that determines their placement on the facade. This precise arrangement was a deliberate design choice and makes the building a textbook example of rational planning.
