Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta

The Santa Maria Assunta is a church building in Rescaldina with a circular main hall housed within a sixteen-sided polygon structure. The current building was constructed between 1953 and 1955 on a site that had held a religious structure since the 1300s. This new construction preserved the long spiritual tradition of the location when the earlier chapel no longer served the community's needs.
