Shiodome Shiba Rikyū Building

The Shiodome Shiba Rikyū Building is a modern office tower in the Kaigan district of central Tokyo that rises 37 stories and houses various corporate and hospitality functions. The structure carefully combines office spaces, a luxury hotel, and other amenities within its framework.

Construction began in 2004 and finished in 2006, marking a key moment in Tokyo's business district modernization. The project was part of a larger transformation of the Shiodome area, which had previously been a traditional railway operations site.

The building houses the Conrad Tokyo hotel, a luxury establishment in its lower levels that blends corporate spaces with upscale hospitality services. Visitors notice how business functions coexist with guest services throughout the structure.

The tower provides direct underground access to both Shimbashi and Shiodome stations, making it easily connected to the public transportation network. Parking is located within the building, and visitors should know that different areas have separate access arrangements.

The structure features an advanced earthquake protection system paired with a 72-hour emergency power supply to maintain continuous operations during seismic events. These technical safeguards remain invisible to visitors but underpin the reliability and safety that thousands of daily users depend on.
