Hamarikyu Intercity is a 25-story office and residential tower in Minato that reaches 116 meters high with a glass and steel facade. The building's upper levels house residential apartments with views overlooking the neighboring Hamarikyu Gardens.
The architectural firm Nihon Sekkei completed this modern skyscraper in 2011 as part of the redevelopment of Tokyo's harbor district. The project emerged during the era of urban renewal that transformed the waterfront area.
The design reflects its waterfront position with features inspired by traditional Japanese sailing vessels, honoring the maritime character of the surrounding area.
The building is located about 6 minutes' walk from Hamamatsucho Station and provides direct access to multiple train lines and the Tokyo Monorail. The location offers excellent public transportation connections with several subway stations nearby.
