The Hamamatsucho Building is an office skyscraper with 40 floors located in Minato ward, Tokyo. The structure houses commercial spaces and an observation deck on its top level.
The building was completed in 1970 and was Japan's tallest structure upon opening. It remained a landmark of Tokyo's skyline until its closure in 2021 marked the beginning of its redevelopment.
The building represented the economic growth period of Japan in the 1970s and served as a central point for international trade activities in Tokyo.
