The City of Nagoya established this public facility in 1984 to strengthen connections between local residents and international communities.
The center maintains a multilingual library containing over 10,000 English books and offers Japanese language courses for foreign residents.
Foreign residents can access free consultation services in eight languages and receive guidance on taxes, pensions, and disaster preparedness.
The facility publishes monthly newsletters in English and Portuguese called The Nagoya Calendar, featuring local events and daily living information.
