Kōriyama Kaiseizan Athletic Stadium

Kōriyama Kaiseizan Athletic Stadium is a sports facility featuring a 400-meter running track, jumping and throwing areas, and covered seating sections for up to 15,474 spectators. The grounds sit within Kaiseizan Park and are surrounded by green spaces and natural landscape features.

The stadium opened in 1974, part of a nationwide wave of sports infrastructure development in Japan during that period. It marked the beginning of a new era for athletic facilities in the Kōriyama region.
