Maya Cablecar, Funicular railway in Nada-ku, Japan

The Maya Cablecar spans 0.9 kilometers along Mount Maya, featuring two cars that transport 53 passengers each between Maya Cable Station and Niji no Eki Station.

The transportation system began operations in January 1925, faced suspension during World War II when facilities were dismantled, and resumed service with new passenger cars in 1955.
