ザ・ライオンズ ミッドキャピタルタワー, Residential skyscraper in Atsuta-ku, Japan
The Lions Mid Capital Tower is a 47-story residential tower in the Atsuta-ku district of Nagoya, Japan, standing around 162 meters tall and housing roughly 390 apartments. The building offers several unit types spread across its floors, along with shared spaces for residents.
The tower was completed in 2009 on the former site of Nagoya Keizai University High School, which had previously occupied that land. The project was carried out by Takenaka Corporation as part of a broader residential development effort in the Atsuta area.
In Japan, residential towers often include named living tiers to reflect different levels of finishing and floor height, and this building follows that pattern with grades ranging from Authentic to Royal. Buyers and renters can choose a tier that matches their expectations, which is a common practice in the Japanese condominium market.
The tower sits a short walk from Nishitakakura subway station, making it easy to reach by public transport from central Nagoya. Right next to the building is AEON Mall Atsuta, which is useful for anyone visiting the area.
Residents have access to a lounge on the 40th floor and a library on the 26th floor, both of which are shared spaces within the building. Having a dedicated library floor in a residential tower is uncommon even by Japanese standards, where shared amenities are already the norm.
