Atsuta Jingu Park, Sacred park near Atsuta Shrine in Nagoya, Japan.
The park surrounds one of Japan's principal Shinto shrines, featuring ancient trees, stone paths, and traditional gardens spread across multiple hectares.
Established around the Atsuta Shrine complex, which dates back 2000 years and holds the sacred Kusanagi sword, one of Japan's three imperial treasures.
The park grounds serve as a setting for numerous Shinto ceremonies and festivals throughout the year, including the significant Honensai celebration in May.
The park opens daily without entrance fees, while the adjacent Kusanagi museum charges 500 yen and operates from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
A thousand-year-old camphor tree stands within the park grounds, reportedly planted by Buddhist priest Kukai during the Heian period.
