シネマックス千葉ニュータウン, Cinema complex in Inzai, Japan.
Cinemaxx Chiba New Town (シネマックス千葉ニュータウン) is a multiplex movie theater in Inzai, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, with ten screens and digital projection throughout. The screens vary in size and format, including a 4DX auditorium equipped with motion seats and environmental effects.
The cinema opened in August 2005 under the name Cinelibre Chiba New Town and was renovated following the 2011 earthquake. It later operated as USCinema before adopting its current name.
The cinema shows Japanese and international films, from animated features to big-budget releases, drawing a wide local audience. It is a regular meeting point for families and young people from the Inzai area.
The theater is about a 15-minute walk from Inzai-Makinohara Station on the Hokuso Line. Tickets can be bought in advance online or through a smartphone app, which helps avoid waiting at the box office.
The 4DX auditorium here is one of the few of its kind in Chiba Prefecture, drawing visitors from well beyond the local area. The seats move in sync with the film and are paired with effects such as wind, water, and scents that match what is happening on screen.
