Yūkari Traffic Park contains intersections, traffic lights, road signs, and railroad crossings for children to learn transportation systems through hands-on experiences.
The municipal government of Matsudo City established this educational facility in 1971 to provide practical traffic safety instruction to local school children.
Elementary schools in Matsudo regularly organize field trips to the park, where students receive structured lessons about traffic rules and road safety procedures.
The park opens daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering free admission and vehicle rentals between 9:00 AM to noon and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
The park exhibits a D51 steam locomotive, rescue helicopter S-62, and fire truck, allowing children to examine actual transportation vehicles up close.
