中の島公園

The park provides direct views of the Sekiyado Castle Museum across the river, which displays exhibits about the Tone and Edo rivers.

The park is reachable on foot from a nearby bus stop, making it relatively accessible for most visitors. Early morning visits work well, as the space is quieter then and the light over the water is better for walking.

A pergola in the park was built from old streetcar rails that once served river improvement projects. This reclaimed material is a reminder of the industrial efforts that went into controlling and managing these waterways over time.
