Shudo Academy is a combined junior and senior high school for boys in the Minami Senda district of Hiroshima. The campus includes buildings for six grade levels with around 280 students per grade.
The institution began in 1725 as a domain school inside Hiroshima Castle under Yoshinaga Asano, the fifth lord of Hiroshima Domain. It evolved from a feudal teaching center into a modern school over nearly three centuries.
