Kariya City Art Museum

The Kariya City Art Museum exhibits modern and contemporary artwork in dedicated galleries spread across multiple floors of its modern building.

Established in June 1983, the museum has grown into a central cultural institution, collecting more than 3,400 artworks from 168 different artists.

The museum organizes temporary exhibitions throughout the year, presenting both Japanese and international artists while focusing on contemporary artistic expressions.

Located at 4 Chome-5 Sumiyoshi-cho, the museum remains closed on Mondays and offers reduced admission fees for students and senior citizens.

The collection includes 3,441 pieces from regional and national artists, documenting the evolution of Japanese art through different periods.
