Furubokke Nature Park

Furubokke Nature Park is a nature park in a valley between Mount Kasamatsu and Mount Zenbo with hiking trails and outdoor recreation spaces. The site includes camping grounds, barbecue areas, playgrounds, and a location containing ancient stone relief carvings.

The site contains an ancient temple with stone relief carvings dating back several centuries, reflecting the artistic traditions of early Japan. This location was maintained over centuries as a center for both religious practice and craftwork.

The park hosts traditional stone carving workshops where visitors can learn techniques passed down through generations of local craftspeople.

The park requires advance reservations for overnight stays and special activities through the official website. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and allow extra time to travel between the two mountains and explore the various facilities.

A suspension bridge connects the two mountains and offers views of the dam and its surrounding waters that change color with the seasons. This bridge provides a unique vantage point for seeing the park's landscape from above.
