Oyama

Oyama is a mountain summit reaching about 328 meters with multiple marked trails winding through thick forest and vegetation. The routes offer clear views across the Aichi Prefecture coastline and the surrounding rural landscape.

For centuries the mountain served as a navigation point for local fisher folk and farmers across the Atsumi Peninsula. Its role as a traditional landmark shows how natural features guided people's daily movements and shaped the region's geography of daily life.
