Description
Daijo Bo Temple is a Buddhist shrine in Namba with a main hall containing a fire-resistant shrine cabinet of the type designed to protect sacred Buddhist statues. This protective structure preserved religious artifacts during wartime threats.
History
The temple was originally destroyed and relocated to its current location in Namba during the Bunroku period. This move came after earlier warfare that had damaged the original site.
Culture
The temple serves as the 29th sacred site along a pilgrimage route dedicated to Settsu Province. Visitors collect stamps in special books during their journey through these holy places.

The temple is about 5 minutes on foot from Nankai Namba Station, making it easy to reach. Temple stamps for pilgrimage booklets are available during all operating hours.
