The Daijo Bo Temple contains a main hall with a fire-resistant storage type shrine cabinet that protected sacred Buddhist statues during wartime.
The temple moved to its current location in Namba village during the Bunroku period after being destroyed in the Ishiyama War between 1573 and 1592.
Visitors receive temple stamps in specialized books dedicated to the Settsu Province pilgrimage route, where this temple stands as the 29th sacred site.
The temple opens from 6:00 to 18:00, located 5 minutes on foot from Nankai Namba Station, with stamps available throughout operating hours.
The temple displays a section of a one-ton bomb dropped by B-29 bombers during World War II, preserved as a historical artifact.
