Yamagata Tersa is a performance center in Yamagata featuring multiple halls of varying sizes for different types of events. The main concert hall seats approximately 800 people, with additional performance spaces available for smaller or specialized programs.

The facility opened in 2001 with a performance by pianist Alicia de Larrocha and the Yamagata Symphony Orchestra. Since then it has grown as an important venue for artists and audiences in the region.

The venue hosts classical concerts, theatrical productions, and traditional Japanese music performances throughout the year. Both established artists and emerging local musicians perform on its stages.

The venue is a five-minute walk from the west exit of JR Yamagata Station, making it easy to reach. On-site facilities include rehearsal spaces, meeting rooms, and a restaurant for performers and guests.

The main hall uses specialized acoustic design features to enhance sound quality. Royal box seating on the balconies offers prime viewing angles and a more exclusive experience for certain audiences.
