Heiwadai Athletic Stadium

Heiwadai Athletic Stadium is a sports facility with an eight-lane track, an adjacent grass field, and concrete stands that hold approximately 25,000 spectators. The layout is designed for clear views of all events taking place on the track and field.

The facility opened in 1948 as the main venue for the 3rd National Sports Festival. It served as Fukuoka's primary athletic center until 1990, when its role in the city's sports landscape began to change.
