Our Lady of Victory Cathedral, Fukuoka

The cathedral exhibits a modern concrete structure with traditional Catholic design elements, featuring stained glass windows depicting biblical scenes throughout its interior.

The site originally housed a wooden church built in 1896, which was later replaced by a red brick structure in 1938 due to increasing congregation numbers.

The cathedral conducts regular services following the Roman rite and functions as the principal church of the Catholic Diocese of Fukuoka, established in 1927.

Located at 2-7-7 Daimyo, Chuo-ku, the cathedral remains open daily from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM and maintains contact through telephone number 092-741-3687.

The contemporary building preserves the main altar from its previous structure, creating a connection between its modern architecture and historical foundations.
