撫養橋, Bridge in Naruto, Japan
The Muya Bridge spans across the Konaru Strait with a total length of 536 meters and consists of four traffic lanes divided into two separate structures.
The first structure of Muya Bridge opened in May 1987 with two provisional lanes, followed by the completion of the second structure in April 1998.
The bridge connects to areas featuring the Naruto Boat Race Stadium and industrial facilities, including warehouses with large-scale advertisements painted on their walls.
The bridge handles 12,332 vehicles per day and connects to the Naruto Second Tunnel on its northern end and the Muya Bus Stop on its southern end.
From the bridge deck, passengers can observe the Otsuka Pharmaceutical warehouse displaying an enormous Pocari Sweat advertisement on its exterior walls.
