撫養橋, Bridge in Naruto, Japan
The Muya Bridge spans the Konaru Strait and connects different parts of Naruto. The structure has two separate roadways with four traffic lanes total, creating a major passage across this narrow waterway.
The first section opened in 1987 with two temporary lanes before the second section was completed in 1998. This expansion doubled the bridge's capacity to handle growing traffic demands in the region.
The bridge connects to areas featuring the Naruto Boat Race Stadium and industrial facilities, including warehouses with large-scale advertisements painted on their walls.
The bridge connects easily to the surrounding road network and is clearly marked from both approaches. Access is straightforward from either side, with clear signage guiding drivers to the crossing.
From the bridge deck, passengers can observe the Otsuka Pharmaceutical warehouse displaying an enormous Pocari Sweat advertisement on its exterior walls.
