Hiyori Ōhashi

The Hiyori Ōhashi is a modern bridge in Ishinomaki that spans across water with a long, sleek form connecting two shorelines. The structure accommodates both vehicle and pedestrian traffic on distinct paths.

The bridge was built in 2004 and replaced an older drawbridge that severely limited traffic flow. The new construction allowed much higher traffic capacity without interruptions.
