Ishinomori Manga Museum, Comics museum in Nakaze, Ishinomaki, Japan
The building presents original manga artwork and three-dimensional exhibits featuring the creations of artist Shotaro Ishinomori across multiple floors of exhibition space.
The museum, designed by architectural firm Nihon Sekkei, opened its doors in July 2001 to preserve and showcase the legacy of manga creation in Japan.
Exhibitions focus on famous manga series like Kamen Rider and Cyborg 009, presenting original drawings, storyboards, and character developments through permanent displays.
The facility operates from 9:00 to 17:00 with admission prices of 900 yen for adults, 600 yen for teenagers, and 250 yen for children under 12.
The third floor includes a reading corner with extensive manga collections and a café serving themed menu items based on current exhibitions.
