Nissay Sasashima Building is a 17-story office tower located in central Nagoya with a total floor area of approximately 25,000 square meters. The structure contains modern office spaces and retail areas that serve the local business community.
The building was commissioned by Nippon Life Insurance Company in 1974 and designed and constructed by Takenaka Corporation. Its completion marked an important moment in the development of Nagoya's business district during a period of economic growth.
The structure represents the architectural evolution of Nagoya's business district, housing major corporations including Kinki Nippon Tourist and Denso IT Solutions.
The building sits near three major train stations and offers easy access by public transportation from around the city. The central location makes it straightforward to reach from different parts of Nagoya.
The building marks the southern edge of a redevelopment zone where plans include a new 180-meter-tall structure stretching 400 meters in length.
