Mode Gakuen Spiral Towers, Educational skyscraper near Nagoya Station, Japan
The Mode Gakuen Spiral Towers rises 170 meters with dual spiraling facades of glass and steel, creating angular patterns across its 36 floors.
Construction of this educational complex began in January 2005 on the former site of Mitsui Building, leading to its completion in March 2008.
The building integrates educational spaces with specialized studios, photo facilities, and multi-purpose halls hosting fashion shows and industry presentations.
Students access the building through underground passages connected to Nagoya Station, with facilities including 43,750 books, computer labs, and pattern-making rooms.
The structure functions simultaneously as a vocational school, retail center, and parking facility while maintaining its distinctive double helix external design.
