Mode Gakuen Spiral Towers

Mode Gakuen Spiral Towers is a 170-meter-tall school facility in Nagoya with 36 floors whose distinctive double spiral design is made of glass and steel. The building contains classrooms, computer labs, pattern-making and sewing workshops, and photo studios for training in fashion and design.

The building was built on the site of the former Mitsui Building between 2005 and 2008 as a new educational facility. This construction marked urban development that replaced historical industrial sites with modern education infrastructure.

The building serves as a hub for fashion and design education, hosting regular fashion shows and industry presentations attended by students and professionals. The spaces reflect a focus on creative practice, with specialized workshops where fashion and design students work daily.

The building is directly accessible from Nagoya Station through underground passages, offering convenient access for students. You will also find a retail area and parking facilities on the site, making it a busy hub in the city center.
