The facility opened in 1975 during a period of rapid golf expansion in Japan when the sport gained widespread popularity. It was established through the efforts of a construction company with experience in building athletic facilities.

The club maintains 1,532 regular members, with 30% residing in Shizuoka Prefecture and others commuting from Tokyo and Kanagawa regions for their golf activities.

The facility sits on hilly terrain with varying elevations, giving visitors different playing conditions across each course. It is worth planning time to explore all three courses, as they offer different levels of challenge.
